By creating an account, subscribing, or using Knight, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with permission from a parent, guardian, or authorised institution.

Knight provides AI-assisted research workflows, including paper explanation, research idea exploration, citation-supported drafting, and document or project generation. Features and limits depend on your active plan as shown on the website or app.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying citations, claims, calculations, and all generated content before academic, professional, or publication use.

KNIGHT-TECH AI PRIVATE LIMITED does not guarantee publication, academic acceptance, grades, research novelty, factual correctness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

You may upload documents, prompts, and other content to use Knight. You must not upload illegal, infringing, confidential third-party, or restricted data unless you have the legal right and permission to do so.

You must not misuse the service, including account sharing beyond permitted use, scraping, reverse engineering, automated abuse, reselling access, or attempting to bypass plan limits or security controls.

The standard monthly subscription price is ₹399 per month unless a different offer is clearly published on our website or app.

A paid subscription grants access to features according to the active plan limits displayed at the time of purchase. We may change features, limits, or pricing prospectively for future billing periods. Continued use after notice of changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. UPI payments are supported. We do not store your full UPI or payment credentials. Payment confirmation, order identifiers, and payment status may be recorded for billing, support, and fraud prevention.

If an existing user refers a new paying user, the referrer may receive a ₹100 reward, credit, or cashback after the referred user successfully completes their first paid subscription payment and passes our fraud and abuse checks.

The referred user always pays the normal ₹399 subscription price. There is no automatic discount to the buyer under the referral program unless we publish a separate offer.

Referral rewards are not guaranteed for self-referrals, fake accounts, duplicate accounts, refunded payments, chargebacks, or abuse. We may modify, suspend, or stop the referral program at any time.

Knight is a digital software-as-a-service product. There is no physical shipping. Access is provided through your account on the website or app after successful payment confirmation.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the service and cancel renewal according to the product flow or by contacting support.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KNIGHT-TECH AI PRIVATE LIMITED and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, research outcomes, academic results, or business interruption arising from your use of Knight.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the subscription in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
